The solitary and peaceful town of Puerto Vallarta in the 50s and 60s is the inspiration of the outstanding painter Javier Niño Rodríguez. He studied art at the Academia de San Carlos in Mexico City and has a large number of exhibitions of his work both in Mexico and in the United States.
